Where we are up to 

The Commission for Children and Young People presented the data and findings from both the Koori Youth Justice Taskforce and the Inquiry in a combined report. The report, Our Youth, Our Way Inquiry into the overrepresentation of Aboriginal children and young people in Victoria's youth justice system (External link), was tabled in Parliament on 9 June 2021.

A whole of government response to the report’s 75 recommendations was submitted on 17 February 2022. The government is immediately supporting 67 of those recommendations, with 8 under review. There are 56 recommendations that will be addressed through Wirkara Kulpa.
