Where we are up to
Umalek Balit continues to operate at all of the sites it is currently implemented (Mildura, Melbourne, Shepparton and Ballarat), while recruitment is ongoing at Latrobe Valley. While COVID-19 restrictions are in place, all community engagement takes place remotely via phone consultations.
Umalek Balit has seen a case load increase of 30% from Q1 of 2021, and a 500% increase on the same time last year.
