Where we are up to
The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV)-wide Koori Family Violence Strategy will set out the framework by which MCV will support our community to address family violence. It will:
- set out MCV's commitment to working with the Aboriginal community to realise their aspirations to live free from violence
- provide focus and direction for MCV in the development and building of a sustainable service delivery model for Aboriginal people experiencing and using family violence.
Development of the strategy commenced in 2022.
